Gentle Yoga

Tuesdays 7:15 –8:15 pm
Tuition: $12.00 (Member $10.00)

Wear modest, comfortable, loose clothing, preferably a natural fiber such as cotton.

Do not eat for at least 2 hours before class.

You are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer, but we have mats, cushions and blankets available for your use.

Yoga for relaxation and for people with limited flexibility

The emphasis is on focus and breath, as we move the energy of the body through a sequence of poses, modifying according to the capacity of those in attendance. The benefits are multiple, including improved mobility of the joints, increased awareness, deeper relaxation and sense of well being.

Gentle Yoga can also be helpful if you have injuries, post surgery, if you are in disease recovery or are overweight. Chair Yoga will be included when appropriate.

This is a 1 hour class. Gentle classes are also offered two mornings a week, Wednesdays and Fridays. No reservation necessary.


A 10-class pass is valid for 3 months. Regular price $115. Seniors receive a 20% discount on class passes or $92.

Optional annual membership is $50. Member price on 10-class pass is $99. Senior price: $79
