The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center is a volunteer-based non-profit, teaching traditional, classical yoga for health and peace of mind for over 50 years. The Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm is located in Grass Valley, CA and we have a beautiful Center in Los Angeles.

The Center at 1185 Vicente Street in San Francisco closed in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.

Thank you for supporting our weekly yoga class and monthly Satsang in person in San Francisco from January to June 2023 at a temporary space in Twin Peaks/Glen Park.

We are now searching for a venue with more exposure where we can grow the community. It is a significant commitment for the teachers and swamis. Please keep your ideas coming! Your support will ensure success.

A moment of peace to start the week. Something special to look forward to at the end of a working day. Something for you only, a time to reflect, outside of current space and time. A journey, which brings the satisfaction of building towards a healthier body, a better self.

Sivananda is a truly special place. A gem in San Francisco. The class teaching is in a small and personalized setting which is absolutely wonderful.
