Founded by Swami Vishnudevananda, the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in San Francisco leads the way in guiding practitioners to a deeper philosophical immersion into the holistic system of yogic life.

The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers organization was founded by Swami Vishnudevananda in 1957. It is dedicated to the teaching of classical Yoga and Vedanta to promote physical, mental and spiritual health.
The Organization is recognized internationally as one of the most important and authentic yoga institutions in the world. A global network of Ashrams and city Centers offer teachings on all aspects of yoga and meditation, including our world-renowned Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC).
