A special opportunity at the San Francisco Center—a Sivananda yoga class taught in Mandarin and Cantonese (and English)! Taught by Sivadas, staff at the San Francisco Center.
This 60-minute gentle Sivananda yoga class includes the following balanced sequence: an initial relaxation period, breathing exercise, modified sun salutations, a series of basic postures, and a final deep relaxation. It is suitable for all levels, including beginners, and will include lots of stretching.
The yoga postures (asanas) and the breathing exercises (pranayama) are meditative and serve to harmonize the body, mind and spirit Release tension, stimulate blood circulation and promote the proper function of the internal organs for total-body health.
Alternating focus on movement, breath and conscious relaxation brings awareness within, and encourages calmness—a real experience of ancient yoga that will bring you a sense of wellbeing. Leave feeling peaceful and rejuvenated.

Sivadas took his Yoga Teacher Training and Advanced Teacher Training Courses in 2017 at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm in Grass Valley, CA and is currently staff at the San Francisco Center. From Hong Kong, he speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English. He has experience as a Personal (NASM) and Group (ACE) Fitness Trainer.
