The Yoga Farm nourishes a dedicated spiritual community located on 80 acres of land in the Gold Country of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Foothills in Northern California, providing an ideal setting to recharge and reconnect with magnificent nature and help to relax and rejuvenate body and mind..

Enjoy silent nature walks, temples, shrines, a swimming pond, labyrinth, and the sauna, away from the stresses of modern life, the Yoga Farm is an oasis of serenity and beauty. You can check in for the day, a weekend, a week getaway, a month or even longer yoga vacations– for more specific courses, programs, retreats or the teacher training course, or stay as a work-study guest.

The Yoga Farm serves tasty vegetarian meals cooked according to Yogic principles.

Yoga Vacation

Immerse yourself in the traditional ashram environment and follow the daily routine and schedule – surrendering to the ancient yogic lifestyle.  The daily schedule has been carefully designed to provide time for rest and contemplation, while enjoying the yoga classes and silent meditation, developing care for your body and mind and expanding our consciousness. Yoga vacations are available year round.


Stress and Relaxation Retreats

Stress has been determined to be the main cause of all illness and disease. During these turbulent times many peoples stress level is at an all time high. At the same time many of us realize that simply trying to "medicate" the stress away is not only ineffective long term but has serious side affects.

There is an alternative. Working in alliance with the mind, body and breath, one can learn to not only effectively reduce or eliminate stress, one can actually achieve a deep sense of peace and joy and well being that they may have not even known was possible. The retreat is based on the time tested practice of yogic principles that have proved to be highly effective and easy to learn regardless of a persons experience in yoga. Come join us for this special retreat and experience the joy of a life free from unnecessary stress and anxiety.
