Yoga 2 – Establish Your Practice

This course builds on the foundation laid in our Yoga I course and gives the opportunity to build up a solid practice, including all the basic postures and breathing exercises. Emphasis is placed on holding postures longer and making smooth transitions between postures. Some variations of the basic postures are introduced.

Training in the headstand is offered for those who are ready. This is an ideal refresher class for those who have lapsed in their practice. It is also suitable for experienced practitioners who are new to the SF Yoga Center. Attend Open Classes free of charge while enrolled.

Duration: 5 sessions, once per week, 90 minutes each
