Swami Jnaneswariananda, visiting from the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm in Grass Valley, will lead our study tonight.
The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most important Hindu scriptures. In Swami Sivananda's words; "Gita embodies in itself a solution to the immediately pressing problems of man and carries a wonderful message of encouragement, hope, cheer and consolation. It is a direct appeal to divinize the entire nature of man... It gives man a positive promise of salvation and makes him fearless."
In verse 27 of Chapter 9, Krishna says, "Whatever thou doest, whatever thou eatest, whatever thou offerest in sacrifice, whatever thou givest, whatever thou practicest as austerity, O Arjuna, do it as an offering unto Me."
Bring joy to your simplest acts. Your days will be blessed.
